Big progress to report at Tim’s House!

Tim McDonald + crew had a big push at the end of the year, and it paid off. The INTUS Windows triple-pane windows and doors are in (!!), thanks to Pedro and his crew at Haycon. The building is officially buttoned up, quieter, warmer, and looking sharp. Then came the roof -  huge thanks to Esvin and crew for the EPDM install, and for helping to hit a critical milestone - no more water on Tim’s tools!

And to really close out the year strong: massive appreciation to Ron Celentano, Curt Kinder, Liz Kinder, Nick Taormina Electric, along with National Grid and Renvu, for the teamwork and guidance that got a 15 kW solar array + 25 kW battery storage system installed just under the wire.

Next up: saying goodbye to the old house’s (circa 1960s) oil-fired boiler and transitioning to a water source heat pump system for heating, cooling, and hot water.
