The original brick building was once a stable for the Philadelphia Police Department built in the early 1900s and is on the City of Philadelphia’s Historic Registry. The client was interested in having two apartments over a commercial space in the original building and additional apartments and commercial space along Frankford Ave and Front St. Along the way the two lots to the south were added making the final scope of work stretch over three properties, with five commercial spaces, and twenty three apartments.
