2300 South is a mixed use development with ground floor retail and eighteen residential units on the upper floors. The façade is broken down into smaller massing elements to better blend with the scale of the surrounding highly pedestrian neighborhood.  The project fronts a triangular park created by the intersection of the orthogonal city grid with Greys Ferry Ave which provides unique open space for this corner site.  The design takes cues from the former historic structure than once adorned this location but offers a modern interpretation for this highly visible apartment development.
